The Bizzell Foundation directs the majority of its funding in its priority communities.
The Bizzell Foundation’s priority communities represent personal ties to the life and legacy of Dr. Anton C. Bizzell, as well as communities where our Bizzell family of companies exists around the globe. Through positive relationships, we support the resilience of communities where we operate and work closely with communities and local organizations to create solutions and allocate resources to enable sustainability within the communities.
Bizzell Foundation’s global philanthropic efforts focus on the provision of effective, efficient, timely, and fiscally responsible health, youth, and economic solutions that improve the overall quality of life for people in rural or low to middle incomes as well as low, emerging, and middle-income countries.
PRIORITY AREAS
Economic Development
Communities grow when barriers are removed. Bizzell helps individuals and communities discover market-driven solutions that facilitate their inclusion/collaboration in productive and profitable value chains. We equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools they need to identify, navigate, and successfully pursue viable business opportunities. We support agriculture, food security, and nutrition-based initiatives that meet both the sustenance and income generation needs of individuals and communities in developing countries.
Youth Empowerment and Workforce Development
Bizzell Foundation promotes positive youth development by providing young people with the knowledge and skills needed to fulfill their potential. We work with local partners across various industries to ensure youth are offered a wide range of technical and professional trainings that enhance their ability to obtain meaningful work that will improve their livelihood, while contributing to the development and growth of their communities.
Public Health Strengthening
We believe access to quality health care is a human right. Bizzell Foundation is committed to tackling some of the most critical global health issues of our time such as food insecurity, clean water, and nutrition-based initiatives.
